Most ADSL modems use ethernet connectors (some are USB though, so you
don't want one like that)

You get the modem when you sign up to an ADSL provider. Either
BTInternet, or a different third party provider (like EasyNet or
something)
A word of warning tho, its very expensive in the UK at the moment
As for whether you'll need a hub, that depends on the box (the one we
have at work has a built in 4-port hub on it)
